News – A big welcome to our new subscribers.
I know I promised you a newsletter last week, but we’ve had a rough June here. My Sister in law was killed in a motorcycle accident on June 15th. She was on her way to work, wearing a helmet, not going fast, she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. She wasn’t only my SIL but also a good friend and my next door neighbor (lived about 100 feet from me). She leaves behind a 19 year old daughter who just finished her 1st year of college. So the past couple of weeks have been a whirlwind of many different things. Although I know things will never be the same, I also know we need to move forward.
The next issue should get to you on July 19th.

We talk about getting prospective customers to trust you and some easy ways you can do that.
Are you prepared?
If something happened to you… what would happen to your business. I know sometimes these things are hard to talk about or even think about. The events of the past couple of weeks have made me realize that we should be prepared. So today we’ll be starting a series on just that (and we should have posts every Thursday on our blog talking about it, if you’re interested).
We’ll be talking about two groups of people.
Group 1 – you have a tutor business and you are the only tutor. You have less than 5 students.
Group 2 – you have a tutor business with more than 5 students. This includes those with employees.
We’ll also be talking about two different types of incidents.
You won’t be able to work for up to a month. Incidents when you won’t be able to work for more than a month.
We’ll conclude for now – still have a whole bunch of family stuff going on. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
To Do List for the Week –
- Let people know you care about them.
The best day to be happy is this one. Don’t wait until tomorrow; make up your mind to celebrate life’s victories today.
Have a wonderful week!
