First we want to welcome all of our new subscribers and our new customers.
We’ve had a wild weather week here. On Saturday it was 50 degrees or so. On Sunday we had a half foot of snow, with power, cable and internet outages – some people in our county still don’t have electricity. Today it is supposed to be 70 degrees and we may have severe storms.
Tutor Business Tips – Finding Leads – what if you don’t have a child in school.
If you missed last weeks tips for finding leads you can find it here –
We’ve moved to a new city – Louisville. We have chosen 6 schools to be in our list. We’ve created an information folder for each.
Now we want to get some information on people to contact. We’ll do one school, but you should do them for all that you choose.
We go back to the Jefferson county schools site, we’ll work on the Moore school first. We find a link on the site to here – http://jcps.jefferson.k12.ky.us/moore/
We click on the staff link and we get the contact information for the teachers and counselors. We also want to note their names of course. You also want to check out the calendar and notice any sports or academic events that are coming up – you’ll want to attend those if possible.
You’ll want to do that for all of the schools on your list.
You’ll also want to drive around to the schools and note places you may be able to put up your advertising. You’ll want to also note any public libraries … as well as any competitors you may have.
Next time we’ll work on contacting them.
