Making more Money in December –
If you tutor students in grade school, high-school, and / or college then especially during the beginning of December you will barely find time to breath. Students are getting ready for semester tests, final exams and papers. There is usually a lull during the end of the month as everyone (usually) if off for the holidays. So how can you make some extra money –
- At the end of the semester is a great time to pick up new students for the following year. Students and parents that are disappointed with their grades will be looking for ways to improve them. Juniors / seniors in high-school will also be looking toward the ACT and SAT tests in the spring. Use normal advertising methods that have worked well in the past.
- Students that need extra help before finals can benefit from more tutoring time. You can schedule this time on the weekends or online.
- We’ve talked about it before but having classes / camps during the Christmas break could also be a way to get some extra income. We talk about doing something similar at the following link.
